Victims of crime have the right to notification of changes in offender status in accordance with RSMo. 595.209. The statute requires mandatory notification to victims of dangerous felonies and the attempts of dangerous felonies. Notification to victims and witnesses of all other crimes will be made upon written request to the Department.

Victims will be notified of parole hearings, parole hearing results, release to the community, escape, death, commutation of sentence and pardon.
