The Contract Coordination and Management Unit is responsible for the development and procurement of professional service contracts. These contracts provide services for offenders such as, education, medical, substance abuse treatment, electronic monitoring, residential facilities,etc.

For services valued at more than $25,000 annually, the Contract Coordination and Management Unit serves as the Department's liaison with the Office of Administration, Division of Purchasing and Materials Management.

The Department has received a Special Delegation of Authority from the Office of Administration, Division of Purchasing and Materials Management for the purpose of procurement of Substance Abuse Services regardless of value.
