Fiscal Management Unit (FMU)

The Fiscal Management Unit (FMU) provides oversight of all departmental financial activities and coordinates those activities with other state agencies. It maintains liaison with the State Treasurer, State Auditor, Office of Administration and the Department of Revenue in the performance of these activities. The FMU is responsible for development and monitoring compliance with the department’s Internal Control Plan. This unit oversees the following essential functions and activities for the department:
